Grit and Grace
~ Written February 6, 2026. Reflections on strength, love, and becoming… honoring what was given and what continues to unfold.
Were it not for my wise, free-spirited mother, I may have chiseled myself into the hardened mold of a competitive, shallow, unawakened man.
While my father taught me grit, strength, perseverance, and work ethic, it was my mother who reminded me of the power of love that sustains it all.
My life has become an ever-flowing synergy and refinement of the two, for this is what they birthed. Yet I alone have been born again many times since, as something miraculously new.
