Quiet Reflections on Healing & Inner Truth

It’s not so much that we don’t have the answers to our own life’s mysteries, challenges, pangs, and lessons; it’s that we’re not deeply engaged in our own inner truth-seeking.

On Authentic Friendship – Understanding Is Love’s Other Name

~ May 25, 2024

People will show you “what and who” they value with their actions not words. Just observe. Be mindful. Not everyone who calls you a friend has the capacity in consciousness to be a true friend.

Authentic friendship is rare and is a graceful form of love. It IS a LIVING thing that requires attention, kindness, compassion and sustained mindfulness to nourish it and keep it flowering.

Just like a plant needs sun, water and care to grow and thrive, so too our cherished friendships need our mindfulness, attention and love as well. Else they wither from lack of care over time.

They become easily overgrown by weeds of worldly distractions from carelessness and inattention.

Have you tended the garden of friendship today?
