Conscious Living

Ihave nothing to sell you. Nothing here that is “new”. I invite you to set aside your spiritual concepts and second-hand knowledge, that you may abide wholeheartedly in the fullness of your own true Self. – Shambo ~ Mark

Our Evolving Prayer Life

~ January 6, 2024

Do not underestimate the power of prayer. For sincere, effectual prayer is the hallmark of every miracle, every saint and being of light that has ever walked the earth.

Our prayer life will evolve as our consciousness expands. Where words were once needed, now the silent prayer whose fragrance is sweet to all of divinity becomes more common than not.

As one’s sense of separation from divinity melts away, one realizes the fundamental truth of nonduality. Not as a mere intellectual concept but on a deep experiential level. That is that there is no distance between divinity and one’s own pure heart. This is true union. This is pure communion in its highest sense.

A mere feeling and thought of gratitude directed towards the divine now conveys what even eons of mortal language failed to do. For it is in these moments that we have transcended the limitation of both time and physical form.

This is why Christ was able to boldly and truly assert, “I am in the father and the father is in me”. Our prayers are much more for the alignment of our own hearts with divine will than they are the needed petitions we often take them to be. For God is not lacking in wisdom and our true needs are already provided for before we ever ask.
