Quieting The Echoes of Our Deeply Ingrained, Conditioned Self-Criticism Mechanisms

As we grow, evolve and transcend along our paths. When we have bravely, fiercely and courageously met, examined and slain our own inner demons. We are alas confronted with the remnant echoes of all of our critics within. Once they were without. Outside of us.
Now we KNOW that it was we who gave our attention to them. It was we who kept reliving their hurtful, shameful, unhealed darts and stabs. They were wounded themselves and could not contain their own pain. So in their moments of unbearable discomfort they wanted to push it all away, away onto us.
I will not give ear nor energy to those voices today within. For they are merely echoes. Fade back into your nothingness. My ears were made to hear the songs of only angels.
