Running from Our Own Truth
~ Written December 10, 2025. Reflections on illusion, inner clarity, and the heartache that comes when we resist the truth meant to carry us home.
The trouble with delusional thinking is that it has to be continually propped up by subscribing to illusion and willful, erroneous thinking.
Truth, on the other hand, often quiet, is ever-present, solid, and grounding. It doesn’t need our approval or acknowledgment to stand firm. It is quite comfortable sitting silent yet powerful in WHAT IS.
Running from our own known truth is one of the greatest travesties of the soul. Heartache after heartache and disappointment befall such a one. There is no true rest, only strife.
Denying that holy inner compass, we are lost unto ourselves… fearing and denying the only sure thing that was meant to carry us home.
