The Message of Easter
~ Written April 5, 2026. Reflections on love, truth, sacrifice, and the deeper message beyond the resurrection.
If you still think of Easter solely as a singular, miraculous, historical event that happened to the crucified and resurrected Jesus, you have perhaps missed the most powerful lesson.
The miracle was not solely in the resurrection and overcoming death itself. The real miracle and testament was Jesus himself, whose entire life was an ultimate living demonstration of the power of an unshakable commitment to the gospel of love and truth itself.
So much so that, in the face of ridicule, mockery, torture, persecution, and certain death, he chose his message of truth and love above this earthly life and its temporal vessel of flesh itself. In the face of the most hideous and barbaric barrage of hate, he performed the ultimate counterplay of love and devotion to God and truth itself.
