Quiet Reflections on Healing & Inner Truth

It’s not so much that we don’t have the answers to our own life’s mysteries, challenges, pangs, and lessons; it’s that we’re not deeply engaged in our own inner truth-seeking.

Flowering Still

~ Written June 15, 2026. Reflections on happiness, growth, and the quiet fulfillment found in living according to one’s purpose.

We only think that we know what will bring us happiness, and with great effort and travail we strive as madmen to clench it as our own. Yet always in the end, whether we obtain that thing or not, our hearts are soon left weeping and wanting. For happiness was never in it, and the truth be told, it has never been “out there.”

Everything under the sun has its purpose. Even our own tears become streams and dew drops that nourish our deepest growth. Our lives are continually flowering magnificently that others may know that a master is tending this garden.

I think it quite amazing to know that in the entire life of a wildflower, it may never be seen nor admired by a single human eye. Yet it flowers still and cowers for no one. It flowers because that is its purpose, and radiant it is in that purpose!

  1. Never had I thought about every beautifully crafted flower, dewdrop, leaf, stream, cloud, sunset, sunrise, wave in the ocean, webb, flutter of wings, existing still in all its glory, without a single witness needed (I love that). Although I do stop to notice and appreciate these things. I’m thankful their beauty exists beyond us, I value their “purpose” I benefit from those purposes. I’m grateful the master is tending the garden. These things bring me peace, happiness… & grounding.(You don’t have to post my comment, please) just wanting to let you know I value your writings & your vibration.

    1. Amanda, I’m honored that you’d take the time to visit the site and read some of my writings. Yes, it helps me also to remember that there are many precious and beautiful things in this world, including us, that don’t necessarily need to be perceived or acknowledged to continue flowering. Thank you for taking a moment to stop and notice. 🌻
